The commitment of Vetreria Bazzanese in international events concerning art and design is growing and deepening: in addition to the collaboration with the artistic duo Antonello Ghezzi on the occasion of Arte Fiera 2019, there were four locations at Fuorisalone 2019 where it was possible to see our works in the context of Milan Design Week from April 9th to 14th 2019.
First of all, Vetreria Bazzanese consolidated the collaboration with Studiopepe, which on the occasion of the 2018 edition, with Club Unseen obtained the Frame Awards Prize 2019 in the category Bar of the Year.
If in 2018 Arianna Lelli Mami and Chiara di Pinto had explored the theatrical potential of a private Club, a sort of refuge from the chaos of the surrounding city, in 2019 the topic of investigation are the Arcanes and the relationship between matter and the archetypal power of symbols in the installation called ‘Les Arcanistes’.
Vetreria Bazzanese has produced two imposing fusion glass tables at the entrance, with curved and laminated glass legs (design by Studiopepe), and the painted glass walls, also in fusion glass, which divide the factory of the early 1900s into the seven environments that compose the allegory of alchemist practices, including the Source of Vibrational Water, the Materioteca, the Alchemic Laboratory.
A series of high-impact scenographic settings in shades of purple, yellow and bronze, which have not failed to attract the attention of many visitors, thanks also to the play of light on the walls.
Also in collaboration with Studiopepe, Vetreria Bazzanese supplied the top of a fusion glass table for the Almst Blck brand, in a sensory staging that reproduced a black beach at the historic building in Via Cesare Correnti 14.
A further collaboration was started with the designer Ana Kraš, who oversaw the furnish of the Creative Director’s Room in the context of the second edition of Life in Vogue: eight rooms of the editorial staff of Vogue Italia, in Piazzale Cadorna, which have changed appearance and have been reinvented by internationally fame designers and architects.
In this context, Vetreria Bazzanese supplied the glass top of the table, experimenting a new combination of materials by applying strips of laminate to the edges of the glass sheet.
We conclude this review with the collaboration of PalermoUno’s precious outfitting, in which Vetreria Bazzanese provided the compositions of colored mirrors inserted in the entrance and bedroom of the eight rooms of the Studio, reinvented in a choral and choreographic project.
The mastery of its craftsmen and the quality of its works has allowed Vetreria Bazzanese to propose new solutions at the service of the creativity of the most innovative architects and designers on the national and international scene, and the appreciations obtained by an expert and evolved public are at at the same time a confirmation that the direction is the right one and a strong motivation to go further in exploring the potential of glass.
So, follow us and don’t lose sight of us, because we will soon have important news!
